Who we are
Tiebreak is a band from Milton Keynes. This website, the mailing list and the shop are run by [full name of the band member who runs the shop], trading as Tiebreak. For anything about your data, email info@tiebreak-band.co.uk.
What we collect and why
| What | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address, when you join the mailing list | To send you news, gig dates, offers and new music | Your consent |
| Your name, email, delivery address and order details, when you buy from us | To take payment, post your order and handle returns | To fulfil our contract with you |
| Anything you send us by email | To reply to you | Our legitimate interest in answering messages |
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run analytics that identify you.
Who we share it with
We use a few trusted services to run things. They only use your data to provide their service to us:
- Brevo stores the mailing list and sends our emails.
- Stripe processes payments. We never see or store your card details.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and handles email sent to our address.
- Royal Mail or another courier gets your name and address to deliver your order.
If you buy vinyl, you order it directly from elasticStage, which presses and posts it. Their own privacy policy applies to that order. Spotify and YouTube players on this site are run by those companies, which may set their own cookies when you use them.
Some of these services may store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Mailing list: until you unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Orders: six years, because HMRC requires us to keep sales records.
- Emails: as long as we need to deal with your message.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. You can withdraw consent to emails at any time by unsubscribing. Email info@tiebreak-band.co.uk and we'll reply within a month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
